The Saint Meinrad Archabbey walking trail was established in the fall of 2020.
The Saint Meinrad Archabbey walking trail was established in the fall of 2020 with the addition of a half mile of paved trail that connects the 1.5 mile loop around the Archabbey grounds.
The paved path will guide you through the scenic Archabbey campus, past the historic sandstone buildings, peaceful cemetery, serene lakes and wooded area.
Wander off the path onto the Marian Shrine Trail for a walk through the woods and around the Twin Lakes. This section of trail is .84 mile long.
The trail begins at the Gift Shop parking lot. Follow along on the map to see landmarks along your walk.
