Round satin finish pewter U.S. Army medal on a 24" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The medal pendant features the seal of the United States Army on the front, slightly raised in the center. On the back is a raised depiction of St. Michael the Archangel surrounded by the words, "St. Michael Protect Me" on top.

Traditionally, St. Michael is considered to be the patron saint of the military, as he is the defender of heaven.
